The course focuses on the Circulatory System of the human body and how blood flows throughout the body. Students are thought about the basic Anatomy of various veins, and arteries, and how to palpate and locate appropriate veins for certain specific lab draws from infants to adults as well as the elderly population. Graduates can obtain jobs in areas like Laboratory units of Hospitals, Doctor’s offices, Clinics, and labs. Companies. The course can also lead students to become “Patient Care Technicians -PCTs” (if they take additional courses like: C.N.A and EKG Technician).
