Currently graduated from the program and I have to say I had a great experience. I took the weekday morning Phlebotomy class and it was amazing. The instructor really gets you involved and makes it fun at the same time. I highly recommend this school not only is it affordable but you can tell they all work with passion.

I thought the sticks were going to be difficult for me to learn while taking the phlebotomy class. However, my teacher allowed me to practice on them before I practiced on the other students, and helped ease my nerves. Also, the cost of the program was unbeatable! I would highly recommend this school to other prospective students.

I currently have a job in the field I went to school for thanks to the “Long Island School of Healthcare Careers”. I took the evening CNA course passed my certification and passed my state certification not long after. The school worked with my schedule and allowed me to maintain my work schedule while going to school to further my education.

The school offers the State/National tests right on site which was a great convenience for me. I did not have to travel far and I passed my exam on the first attempt. The review class that was held prior to the exam definitely benefited me in taking my exam. I am very thankful for this opportunity because now I have the ability to have a higher-paying job to help with my college tuition.

Initially, the EKG class was difficult for me. My teacher really put the time, energy, and effort into helping me understand and not fall behind in the class. The small class size allowed me to have a more individualized focus on the areas I needed help. I am very grateful to the teacher and the school employees for all of their concern and compassion.

I began classes as a CNA and after speaking with the staff at Long Island School of Healthcare Careers they advised me that I could become a “Patient Care Technician” if I also took Phlebotomy and EKG. Thanks to this advice, I am currently an employee at a very prestigious hospital making a great salary, and have the ability to apply at any hospital within the country!

The school actually prepared me well for my Patient Care Technician Program, currently, I work in one of the largest area Hospitals on Long Island. I will recommend the school to anyone contemplating taking C.N.A., EKG, and/or Phlebotomy courses in order to obtain your National Licensing as a PCT.
